Good but bad, but good
The movie is about godzilla right? I dont want to follow a little girl and her mom 70% of the movie. I just dont care about them or if they will survive or die because its about the giant monster. The fights and scenes with zilla was great. I would like to see more lore and background about the titans.

It's difficult to know what could make Godzilla: King of the Monsters a truly enjoyable film, but a start would be to focus on what everyone wants to see - the monsters - and leave the tricky plot mechanics for pretty much any other movie.

The general consensus from critics who disliked Godzilla: King of the Monsters is that the movie has spectacle and some genuinely outstanding battle moments, but they're dragged down by a weak story, silly dialogue, and dull plotting.

They state that KotM couldn't find success because of there being other giant monster films around to satiate that itch as a general audience goer.
