Cisco polycom 7936 bị lỗi error pass limit năm 2024

I have a 7940 that's displaying an "Error Pass Limit" error on the screen. It receives no dial tone but can browse the corporate directory and the switch works fine. Things like call fwd doesn't work and view missed calls do not display even though they did a few days ago.

I'm using a CAT6 patch cable. It configures and gets its IP fine.

A customer reported an issue with their 7941 phone. The issue was they plugged in a new 7941 all configured at Call manager and it was showing “Error pass Limit” as follows:

This sort of error normally comes when you have one of the following conditions:

  • Too many unassigned directory numbers in Call manager i.e. not assigned to any phone or any extension mobility profile
  • No Extension assigned to the phone
  • The Busy Trigger and maximum calls on the line are not correct (normally you configure max calls: 4 and busy trigger: 2)

For this particular issue I found no extension was assigned to it so I assigned an unassigned DN and the issue was resolved.

I have noticed quite a few clients experiencing the Error Pass Limit on their 7960 Phones. The environment is CallManager 4 and Unity. The clients have a working phone, then they won't use their phone for awhile, and then the phone will display everything except the line and when trying to make a call, this error appears. When looking at the phone in Call Manager, I notice that the line (dircetory number) has disappeared from the device. Re-adding the line, resolves the problem. Any idea what causes this error and possibly a long-term fix. Thank you I

I have configured extension mobility for 300 users and i have added 7945 phones with phone templat of 7945 in call manager.

ON 7945 phones when i lift the receiver and when try to dial i get the error pass limit on the screen and no dial tone, when i hang up the reciver it keep displaying on screen forward to.

BUT user are able to login with their user id and password and they are able to make calls, and also they can logout perfect but only i worried abt when the phone is idle without login it shows me the above errors.

I have seen many post saying increasing the max call and busy trigger but in my situation it wont work becz i have confgured extension mobility where each and every phone is without the line.

We have a problem in some Cisco IP Phones 7936, the DN has dissapeared and the phone show the error: Error Pass Limit.
