Of course, it's complaining about the number of cylinders and an SSD doesn't really have cylinders. You could try updating to the most recent BIOS, but that involves its own risks. In that forum they recommend using an updated version of "grldr", but this file is replaced by "Neogrub" now - or? I am at loss, how do I proceed. I'm using Vista Home 32 bit Premium, and a HP Pavillion DV9880, and would very much like the 64-bit SUSE to get up and running Cheers, Radar
Update: Gave up on Neogrub last night and installed GRUB on /dev/sdb2 using the SUSE installer DVD. Then added the Linux entry using EasyBCD. Now it works! Read on this forum that HP Pavillion will not boot from 2nd HD, that theory can now be scrapped, it works for me. Using latest BIOS for my computer, v58. Cheers, Radar! Ở các bản HirensBoot, DLC boot đều có BOOTICE. Sau khi chạy BOOTICE bạn thực hiên các thao tác sau để nạp lại MBR:  Đầu tiên ở mục Destination Disk >Process MBR để nạp MBR Chọn: + Windows NT5x: nếu đang sử dụng Windows XP. + Windows NT6x : nếu đang sử dụng Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8. Sau khi chọn hàng, bấm Install/Config rồi Save là OK. Tiếp đó là nạp PBR Chọn: + NTLDR : cơ chế của riêng Windows XP, tìm file NTLDR để khởi động + BOOTMGR : của Windows Vista/7/8.
